The cast of Friends have paid tribute to Matthew Perry after he tragically died at the weekend at the age of 54. The star - who was best known for his role as the witty Chandler Bing in the hit US sitcom - was found dead at his home in Los Angeles over the weekend.
An investigation into the much-loved comedy actor’s death began after officers from the LA Police Department responded to a call to his house just after 4pm on Saturday for a death investigation of a man in his 50s.Matthew’s body was found in the hottub at his LA home, according to unknown sources which have been cited by the Los Angeles Times and TMZ, which was the first to report the news.
An autopsy has now been conducted and no foul play is suspected.On Sunday afternoon, Monday morning UK-time, the medical examiner updated the star's cause of death on its website to "deferred".
This means more investigations will be required.Now, his former co-stars, whom he maintained a good relationship with and in 2021 reunited with for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of the hit series, have paid tribute to their co-star."We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew.
