Linen at the ready! While the Irish travel industry remains on lockdown, the Brennan brothers are going from strength to strength.

TV favourite Francis and his brother John are expanding their hotel and restaurant empire having recently snapped up The Lansdowne Arms Hotel in Kenmare.

The three-star hotel has occupied a prime spot on the Kenmare stretch of the ring of Kerry since it was built in 1790 and is just a stone’s throw away from the exclusive Kenmare Park hotel which is also owned by the brothers.

Under the new ownership, the hotel will be rebranded as The Lansdowne Kenmare Hotel and according to The Taste, it will operate 28 pretty-as-a-postcard bedrooms and a bistro.
