Fortnite Turns Back the Clock With ‘OG’ Season Revisiting Previous Eras
variety.comKatcy Stephan Fortnite players, get ready for a blast from the past. The wildly popular online game is turning back the clock this season, allowing users to experience the magic of 2018’s first chapter.
A series of weekly updates will bring different phases of Battle Royale’s past, starting with Chapter 1 Season 5. Among the most exciting items returning to Epic Games’ third person shooter are the beloved Shopping Cart, the Proximity Grenade Launcher and the Mounted Turret.
The item shop is also hitting rewind, introducing the “OG Shop.” Curated selections of classic, mashup and fresh items will be available for a limited time, as a new curated selection will appear in the Shop daily at 7 p.m.
