Fly-tippers blasted after bags of asbestos found dumped in Wishaw cemetery

Disgraceful dumb dumpers have been blasted after a huge amount of asbestos was found within the grounds of a Wishaw graveyard.

Fly-tippers left several bags of asbestos along with other materials at Cambusnethan Cemetery sparking fury among local residents and those paying their respects to dead relatives.

Several locals contacted North Lanarkshire Council who are in the process of disposing it safely. The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
