Five East Kilbride community groups receive council funding

Almost £2000 has been granted to community groups in East Kilbride.At the East Kilbride Area Committee meeting on Tuesday, November 1, five groups received community grants totalling £1860.Community grants are given to community groups and voluntary organisations to help fund activities and projects and to involve people in the community by bringing them together to enjoy educational, recreational, leisure and other community activities to improve the local environment.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
