Ian Price tragically died after being attacked by what is believed to have been XL Bullys in an incident that saw a school put on lockdown.A person has been arrested in connection with the attack, which saw school children stopped from leaving their classrooms.
The 30-year-old was arrested on suspicion of being in charge of dogs dangerously out of control causing injury.Officers confirmed he was then further arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.
Mr Price was attacked close to the school where his wife worked.Members of the public stepped in, desperately trying to get the dogs off Mr Price.
It's understood the 52-year-old, who lived opposite the scene of the attack, had been visiting his mum who lives across the street.Police prevented children from leaving a nearby school for safety reasons.
