Fake Apple products and illegal vape kits among 1,000 counterfeit items seized

More than 1,000 fake items including counterfeit Apple products and illegal vape kits have been seized by police during a crackdown in Bolton.

Officers from the Rumworth and Hulton Neighbourhood policing team and Bolton trading standards visited multiple businesses on Thursday (June 27) and discovered huge stashes of illegal goods.

Counterfeit Apple products, phone accessories, illegal vape kits, nicotine gum and cigarettes were seized from businesses on St Helens Road, Wigan Road, and Deane Road. The force added that illegal and unregulated vapes kits and accessories are potentially dangerous and can be harmful to individuals’ health.
