Emma Watson has been spotted with a new man days after she parted ways with Sir Philip Green’s son Brandon. The 33-year-old Harry Potter actress sparked new romance rumours after she was snapped spending time with a mystery man last week during a trip to Venice, Italy.

Her jaunt around the Italian city came days after it was reported the star was no longer seeing the Topshop owner’s offspring.

The star was smiling and laughing alongside American businessman Ryan Walsh, according to The Sun. During their stay, they were said to have taken a water taxi to the island of La Certosa for dinner reservations where they were joined by two other people.

Emma dressed for summer in a maxi silk dress that featured a busy pattern of tartan-like colours and shapes. She wore sunglasses on her head that kept her mass of brunette locks off her face and covered her shoulders with a white-lined shirt.

Tom Cruise is bringing more death-defying stunts than ever before to In a new behind-the-scenes clip from the upcoming action flick, Cruise and director Christopher McQuarrie headed to the Lake District in northwest England to film the franchise star participating in «one of the most dangerous sports in the world,» speedflying. «While it may look similar, speedflying is not skydiving,» McQuarrie explains in the clip. «Skydiving is fairly predictable, speedflying is incredibly unpredictable.»While skydivers look for an open field to land in comfortably, for speedflyers, the point is to accelerate and spiral as close as possible to the mountains and rock formations — just feet off the ground — before landing at a high rate of speed.The intense scenes were too dangerous to film with a helicopter or drone, so the crew had to construct their own gimbal system, rigging up two cameras to track Cruise's rapid descent down the mountains, reaching speeds of up to 50 miles per hour.«It is truly a one-of-a-kind adventure,» McQuarrie says in the clip of directing Cruise through his increasingly daring stunts in thefilms.

John Hopewell Chief International Correspondent Japan’s Hiroshi Teshigahara, who seemed on track for greatness after winning two Oscar nominations for “Woman in the Sands,” will be the subject of a San Sebastian Festival retrospective.  Nominated for best foreign-language film in 1964, and winning Teshigahara a best director Academy Award nomination a year later, “Woman in the Sands” was just Teshigahara’s second feature, a social and erotic allegory which yoked the political convictions of Teshigahara and screenwriter Kobo Abe, both members of Japan’s communist party in their youth, with Abe’s penchant for the darkly surreal.  Turning on an entomologist from Tokyo who discovers a young widow living at the bottom of an enormous sandpit on a deserted beach, it also won a Cannes Special Jury prize. Hailed as a masterpiece, and building on 1961’s “The Pitfall,” a political allegory which won Teshigahara fans, with Abe adapting his TV play, it looked like Teshigahara would find a niche on the same pantheon as contemporaries Nagisa Oshima and Shohei Imamura.
