EastEnders Suki actress shows off glam transformation and soap fans cannot get enough

Balvinder Sopal, 44, who plays Suki Panesar in EastEnders, has debuted a stunning hairstyle to her 54,000 followers on Instagram.The soap star showcased stunning voluminous curls in a picture captioned with a quote from the book The Erotic Notebooks by Yasmine Millett.

In the snap, her shiny, dark curls fall around her face, highlighting her features. Peeking out from behind her hair, she wrote: "The spying of course, I told myself, was not malicious, nor something shameful, it was merely a manifestation of the curiosity that everyone felt." The look was a departure from her usual sleek up-dos and pared-back EastEnders look, and fans were wowed by the look, commenting: “You are the prettiest person ever” and “Absolutely stunning you are, Bal!” Another wrote: “You never fair to deliver Balinder”, followed by some clapping hands emojis.The actress joined the EastEnders cast in 2020 and has quickly become an iconic character, much loved by soap fans.

Her character has had a tough storyline, which sees her locked in an abusive marriage with her husband, ex-convict Nish, despite her wanting to pursue a happy relationship with Eve Unwin.The hardworking mum can usually be seen cutting a stern look and she adopts the role of doting wife to Nish, and tries to protect her youngest son Vinny.

Only a few weeks ago, fans were left shocked when Suki 'fell' down a set of steps, putting her in hospital. Away from the soap, Balvinder lives in the Kent countryside and commutes to the EastEnders studio in Elstree.
