Schofield, 61, left This Morning after reports emerged about a feud between him and Holly Willoughby, 42, before later admitting to an affair with a younger colleague and cutting ties with ITV.Eamonn became one of Schofield and ITV's harshest critics, branding the entire situation a 'cover up'.
He also said the disgraced presenter created a 'toxic work environment'. Eamonn and Ruth, both 63, hosted on Fridays for 15 years until 2021 and will be involved in the external review.
Following Schofield's bombshell statement confirming the 'unwise, but not illegal' affair with a younger male colleague Eamonn appeared on Dan Wootton's TalkTV show.
