Holly Willoughby co-operating with Phillip Schofield inquiry as pals say 'she has nothing to hide'

This Morning host Holly Willoughby has now spoken to the lawyer that is heading the independent inquiry into the Phillip Schofield scandal.

Pals of Holly's have noted that "she has nothing to hide" amid the review fronted by Jane Mulcahy KC.The Mirror reports that the presenter has "fully complied and cooperated with everything that has been asked of her by the KC", sources say.

Ms Mulcahy is the main lead of the external review of Phillip Schofield's departure from This Morning, which is expected to be finalised in September.The disgraced star exited ITV's This Morning and the broadcaster itself back in May after he admitted to having a relationship with a younger male colleague outwith his own marriage.The source added: "Holly was more than happy to do what was asked of her, and explain her position, and what she knew, and what she didn’t." Holly is just one of the many people working on This Morning that has assisted Mulcahy with her enquiries.Senior ITV executives, including boss Kevin Lygo, have also been spoken to regarding the external review.
