A drug dealer who kept heroin on his bedside table has been jailed. Ben Whitelock-Wainwright was one of three people arrested as police raided a house in Warrington last month.

Cheshire Police says the 49-year-old told officers there were drugs being kept in a wardrobe and on his bedside table. Officers discovered a large quantity of heroin, worth an estimated £11,300 to £13,160.

Whitelock-Wainwright was sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court yesterday (March 14) following the drugs bust, which took place at around 11.55am on February 13.

Officers from the Warrington Beat Management Team also recovered around £6,775 from the property, on Alder Lane.
