Dramatic footage shows fire burning at house in Stockport before emergency services swarm area
manchestereveningnews.co.ukLocals have spoken of their shock after dramatic footage showed a large fire burning at a house in Stockport this afternoon (Sunday).
The blaze broke out at a terraced house in Brinnington just after 3pm. Fire crews raced to the terraced property on Brinnginton Road after the alarm was raised.
Police and paramedics also attended. The road was cordoned off as firefighters donned breathing apparatus to tackle it. The Manchester Evening News has now been sent footage which shows the size and intensity of the fire, the seat of which appeared to be in the garden. In the clip, it can be seen being completely engulfed by bright orange flames which are lapping up into the air and sending plumes of smoke billowing out over the densely populated residential area.
