EXCLUSIVE: LA-based DH’BAB Productions has struck a slate financing and distribution deal with Saudi studio and cinema chain Muvi.

The deal, financial details of which were not disclosed, will see Muvi using its finance and distribution expertise to back three projects from DH’BAB.

Muvi CEO Adon Quinn said the two companies would “work hand in hand to produce compelling narratives, immersive experiences and innovative content that resonates with both Saudi and global audiences.

Muvi Cinemas currently has 205 screens in 21 locations across 10 cities in Saudi. DH’BAB said Muvi’s scope and resource would allow it better achieve its company mission statement of connecting the global industry with opportunities in the GCC region and Saudi Kingdom.
