Lewis Stevenson, 26, reportedly ignored warnings from his family not to scale the towering 630ft-tall Castilla La Mancha in Talavera de la Reina, but he took on the challenge anyway.
He was trying to capture a daredevil snap for his social media when he tragically fell to his death on Sunday. His Instagram page is filled with shots of him posing on top of tall buildings and huge structures worldwide, including in New York City, as the young man allegedly "did what he did for his own pleasure".
But now, Lewis's family is left devastated. His girlfriend Savannah Parker expressed her sorrow over the tragic incident on social media, describing her boyfriend's death as "a nightmare".
