ok.co.ukOne half of the Hairy Bikers, Dave Myers' death was tragically announced on Thursday 29 February, with his TV partner Si King confirming the cause of death in a heartfelt statement.
Dave, who was just 66 at the time of his passing, had been battling cancer for the last two years, speaking out on his diagnosis back in 2022 - but did not specify which type of cancer he was diagnosed with.
Previously explaining why he hadn't shared which type of cancer he was battling, Dave told The Guardian it was "because everybody then goes Googling, everybody becomes an amateur doctor...
And I don't want to be judged – yet". At the time, he was 14 sessions into his chemotherapy and on a break from filming the duo's series The Hairy Bikers Go West.
