Dad of two of Lucy Letby's victims left 'uneasy' as killer nurse 'kept looking' at him during her trial

The father of two babies who Lucy Letby has been convicted of trying to kill said he was left feeling 'uneasy' and was forced to move out of her eyeline in court as she 'kept looking over' at him.

Letby, 33, is today being sentenced for the murder of seven babies and the attempted of six others whilst working at the Countess of Chester Hospital.

Letby has been brought to Manchester Crown Court but has so far refused to leave her cell in the court building and come into the courtroom where statements from the families of her victims on the impact of her crimes are being read out. And he revealed that the nurse's behaviour in court made him feel 'uncomfortable' and that he was forced to move positions. "The stress and strain have been unbearable at times and my mental health has suffered as a consequence of this case," he said in the statement read by prosecutor Philip Astbury.
