Coronation Street star Todd Boyce has joked he'll 'never get away' as something he 'hated' about being in the ITV soap was revealed.

The actor has already finished filming with his final scenes set to air this week in the climax of the annual 'Super Soap Week'.

It's been just over a year since Todd reprised the role of Stephen in the long-running show. The return came 15 years after he was last seen on the famous street and 26 years after originally making his debut in the role of Audrey's son.

But it'd be fair to say that Corrie fans have been hoping to witness Stephen's demise and have been promised that in one way or another, he will exit Weatherfield during Friday night's episode (October 13).
