Coronation Street fans say 'could we not' as Paul Foreman funeral sparks confusion

At the end of the long-running storyline, which showed the impact of the life-shortening disease on not just Paul but his wife family, Corri fans saw Bernie Winter and Summer Spellman with Paul when his health took a sudden turn as he started struggling to breathe.
The pair called for an ambulance and Paul was rushed to the hospital where Bernie, Summer and Paul's sister Gemma Winter-Brown were soon told by doctors there was nothing more they could do and they headed in to say their emotional goodbyes to Paul. However, he did think he got to tell Paul how he felt over the phone but in reality, Paul had already tragically passed. But as Paul's funeral arrived during Wednesday night's (October 2) trip to Weathefield, Bernie's emotions got the better of her and she admitted the truth to Billy, who had just conducted his husband's funeral on the first anniversary of them getting married.
