Cops appeal for dashcam footage of East Kilbride Expressway crash after biker seriously injured

Road police in Lanarkshire are appealing for witnesses to a horror road crash involving a car and a motorbike on the East Kilbride Expressway.

The incident happened on the A726 Strathaven Road, at around 8.20pm on Thursday, May 9, and involved a black Hyundai Kona and a black BMW motorbike.

The male driver of the motorbike was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries. The driver and passenger of the car were taken to University Hospital Wishaw for assessment.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
