Hamilton Accies Community Outreach have set up a food programme during the Covid-19 pandemic.Working in association with Lanarkshire charity Blameless – who support people and their families affected by addiction and are based at the football club – volunteers have been delivering lunch and dinner meals to hundreds of members of the community.This includes Blameless service users, vulnerable or disadvantaged people, and those in isolation or unable to get out the house due to illness.Volunteers have been delivering healthy and nutritious meals across Lanarkshire.And they have also been delivering vital supplies to those in need, including non-perishable food and drink items as well as crisps and sweet treats for the children and colouring.
