Blantyre community group Chase the Rainbow cheers kids up with Disney magic
dailyrecord.co.ukBlantyre’s Covid-19 community group Chase the Rainbow are continuing to spread cheer throughout the town.Members of the volunteer group – set up at the start of the coronavirus pandemic to simply encourage youngsters to draw a rainbow and put it in their window to brighten up the town – have also spent the last three months distributing birthday presents to surprised children on their big day and gifting acts of kindness to nominated and deserved people within the town.And now they are going that extra mile by dressing up as Disney mascots including, legends Mickey and Minnie, Donald Duck and Frozen’s Elsa, to entertain.Children simply nominate their street by posting it on the Chase the Rainbow Blantyre Facebook page and the group may well.
