Comedian Katherine Lynch forced to sign on for coronavirus social welfare payment

Like thousands of people across the island of Ireland, Katherine Lynch has revealed that she will be signing on for social welfare payments.

Amid the health crisis, many people have lost their jobs either permanently or temporarily and Katherine is here to tell us that there is no shame in claiming these payments.

The comedian revealed that she never thought she’d see the day where she’d be signing on for social welfare but must now that many of her jobs have been cancelled.

The trainee life coach revealed to the Irish Daily Mirror: ‘Yeah, everything has had to come to a halt, I was in Madhouse, a play that was due to go into the Gaiety but that will be halted for awhile. ‘And then I have my production company, WAKA TV, with Warren Meyler
