Tributes paid to 'hero' teen killed in horror late night crash on Scots road

Tributes have been paid to a teen pedestrian after he was killed in a horror crash on a road in Fife last night. Shane Dickson, 15, has been named locally following the tragic accident which happened on the A985 near Cairneyhill.

Emergency services raced to the road after the collision involving three vehicles and Shane happened at around 11.50pm on Saturday, March 5.Ambulance crews attended but the young pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.The news has left Shane's family and friends completely devastated.Tributes have poured in for the youngster, from Inverkeithing, who has been described as a 'hero'.His heartbroken gran Alisia Nelson posted a picture of Shane on her Facebook page, before commenting: "I can't take it in."Shane's sister shared another picture of the youngster with the caption: "Rest easy Shaney."Meanwhile, Izy Carruthers said: "Can't believe what I'm seeing.
