Coatbridge company hosts family day and fundraises for Lanarkshire hospice

Workers from a much-loved Coatbridge confectionery company enjoyed a successful family event last Saturday.The event, which took place at Less of Scotland's North Caldeen Road factory, featured a host of activities for families and children to enjoy.

These included a DJ, bouncy slide, face painting, a snowball hunt, factory tours, ice cream van, soak the manager game - which proved popular - and much more.Hundreds of enthusiastic visitors took part in the popular activities and the day raised an impressive £1122 in aid of St Andrew’s Hospice.

This will be donated to help the work of the specialist palliative care centre. The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
