A city centre street has been cordoned off this evening after coach is said to have crashed into scaffolding surrounding a building.
Charlotte Street, just off Portland Street, has been taped off with both police and paramedics at the scene following the collision.
There is a Megabus liveried coach inside the cordon. It's digital display says it is a Glasgow M17 service. One eyewitness said they could see the coach had collided with scaffolding which currently surrounds a building on the corner of Charlotte Street and Portland Street, as it turned from the main road into the side street.. The witness said there was glass visible on the floor and that both Greater Manchester Police (GMP) officers and the North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) were on the scene, which is close to the Yates bar on Portland Street.
