A children's home in Manchester has been criticised for not doing enough to stop kids vaping. The home in south Manchester, which was shut down last year after a child snuck out in the early hours of the morning to go drinking, has been inspected again by Ofsted.

The education watchdog, which allowed the children's home to reopen in September, concluded that it still requires improvement.

In the latest full inspection which took place on November 20, Ofsted found that the home is still not delivering good care of children.

However, a report published on Saturday (January 13), says that there are 'no serious or widespread failures' at the home. Nevertheless, inspectors had some feedback for staff and managers at the home who they say 'failed to put measures in place' to discourage vaping.
