Cheryl breaks down in tears on stage ahead of final 2:22 A Ghost story show

Singer-turned-actress Cheryl broke down in tears on Sunday as the star received a huge round of her applause for her penultimate 2:22 A Ghost Story performance.

The Girls Aloud favourite joined the cast of the critically acclaimed theatre show in January, with her stint coming to an end yesterday, 23 April.

For her final day, Cheryl, 39, did two performances – a matinee and evening show. Following her final matinee, one theatre-goer shared a video of Cheryl looking visibly moved as she took a bow alongside her cast mates.

Holding hands with Louise Ford, Cheryl smiled at her co-star as she wiped away tears from her eyes. Louise then comforted the singer as they exited the stage.The cast returned to the stage at 6pm for what was their final show together.
