Now, the film’s director Pete Ohs and actor Jeremy O. Harris have revealed new details of the film to Variety.While rumours of Charli filming something in Poland had made its way onto the internet, it never gained massive attention – some fans thought it was for a music video, while others claimed it was a film but at the time, Charli had not been announced for any projects in production.Speaking to Variety, Pete Ohs has confirmed that Charli was in Warsaw to film for his upcoming movie, Erupcja (“eruption” in Polish).
The film tells the tale of two women and the combustible relationship between them – one woman’s Polish, while the other is a foreigner, visiting on holiday.
In the film, Charli plays the film’s foreign lead opposite Lena Góra (Imago).Ohs and Harris also revealed that the film’s “secrecy” was blown by the musician’s fame: “[Charli] definitely got recognized a bunch of times.
