Chaos on ITV's new Squid Games-inspired show as three contestants hospitalised

An ITV show has been thrown into turmoil after three contestants were rushed to hospital. The Squid Games-inspired programme, Show 99 to Beat, has been dubbed a "f***ing disaster" by insiders.

It comes after 100 challenges involved jumping into a 20ft pile of hay. The show, hosted by Adam and Ryan Thomas, sees contestants compete in various tasks to avoid elimination, with the aim of having one contestant left standing at the end.Contestants reportedly developed "an allergic reaction" due to the hay.

It's also alleged that one participant suffered a head injury after collapsing in the toilets. However, it is believed that no contestant sustained life-changing injuries.

A spokesperson for South Central Ambulance Service stated: "We were called this morning to Shinfield to reports of people who had become unwell.
