Changing Rooms viewers rip into ‘revolting’ makeover as they rage at designers for ‘destroying’ property

CHANGING ROOMS viewers were left shocked after seeing a dramatic design inspired by the mood of the 70s. The Channel 4 show stars interior designers bringing daring design dreams to life.

In Wednesday's episode, presenter Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and designer Whinnie Williams visited two adjoining houses in the historic village in Yorkshire.

Mum and son Sonya and Christian transformed each other's pokey kitchen and living room. Christian wanted to modernise his mum's kitchen.

Laurence worked on creating a "modern bright kitchen" with a "bit of history." The Georgian-inspired colour palette included a lemon yellow, with a white for an airy feel and a smoky blue.
