The creative, who was a two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist, has written beloved projects such as Painting Churches and Coastal Disturbances, the latter of which earned her a nomination for Best Play at the Tony Awards in 1987.

Prior to her death, she was dealing with an illness after fracturing her hip. Tina leaves behind two children, three grandchildren and a multitude of creative works that are a testament to her creative legacy.
