Catering supervisor retires after 32 years of dedicated service to Lanarkshire school

A beloved member of staff at a Lanarkshire school has hung up her ladle as she begins her well-earned retirement.Kathleen Ferrie has served St Monica's Primary in Coatbridge with "great distinction" as catering supervisor for the past 32 years.And it really is the end of an era for the Kirkwood school as Kathleen's mum, Anne Burns, was her predecessor in the role.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
