Britain's Got Talent's Viggo Venn pulled out of his planned TV appearance days after winning the 2023 run of the ITV talent show.
The Norwegian comedian was told he had "captured the heart of the nation" with his high-vis inspired routines as he emerged victorious.
But after it was revealed that he had bagged the £250,000 cash prize and a spot at the upcoming Royal Variety Performance after beating stiff competition from 13-year-old dancer Lilliana Clifton and 14-year-old magician Cillian O’Connor, not everyone seemed impressed.
The unexpected winner faced boos from the live audience as they appeared unhappy at the result. And some watching the final unfold at home demanded it should be the last series of the popular Saturday night show as they disagreed with the choice of champion.
