BREAKING: 'Teenage' yobs carry out armed robbery at Lanarkshire convenience store

Armed robbers threatened terrified staff at an Airdrie shop and made off with hundreds of pounds in cash early this morning.Police are appealing for information after the robbery at premises on Cairnhill Road at around 7.25am on Thursday, January 6.Two men entered the store with a knife and metal pole and threatened staff, before leaving along Bellsdyke Road with a three-figure sum of cash.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
