Call the Midwife fans bid an emotional farewell to midwife Trixie Franklin in a recent episode of the BBC show, as the nurse flew to Portofino to look after her sick aunt.That’s because in real life the actress that plays her, Helen George, took some time out of filming the much-loved series to give birth to her own baby - second daughter Lark.
Helen and her former co-star Jack Ashton welcomed little Lark in November, a baby sister for their older daughter Wren, four.
