A man has been charged with murder after a 75-year-old man was found dead in his flat in Rochdale. Police have charged Andrew Hall, 57, with murder after grandfather Geoffery Ives was found dead in his flat on Hardfield Street in Heywood on Sunday, January 29.

Police found the 75-year-old's body following a ‘concern for welfare’ call the same day. Hall, of Crown Road, Heywood, has been remanded in custody, and will appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court later this week.
