Boy, 15, rushed to hospital after being 'stabbed in the leg'

A 15-year-old boy was rushed to hospital after being stabbed near Blackley on Saturday night (April 13), the Manchester Evening News understands.

Police and paramedics attended the scene on Lion Brow, just off Rochdale Road, at around 7pm. It is thought the victim was stabbed in the leg in the violent attack.

The teenage boy was taken to hospital for treatment from the scene. It is understood his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing. A number of teenagers are believed to have been involved. The violence erupted on Lion Brow, a narrow tree-lined path off Rochdale Road, close to Harpurhey.
