In the new Channel 4 show In Love and Toxic: Blue Therapy, five couples explore their relationship problems with two professionals Denise and Jo, and try to come up with solutions.

It remains to be seen if the participants manage to get their romances back on track but viewers will find out the outcome at the end of the series.

One of the couples on the show are Michael and Lauren, who appeared on the series because Michael felt like Lauren wasn't prioritising him and their date nights as her music career grew.

In an exclusive interview with OK! Michael tells us why he decided the show was the best route to try and solve their issues. “Going on Blue Therapy was a last resort to save our relationship.
