Biggar Accordion & Fiddle Club gathered recently and the focus was on local players, such as Lorna Johnstone from Crawfordjohn.Accordionists for the afternoon on Sunday, December 10, were Davie Millar, Gus Lowrie, Marshall Harkness, George Syme, Calum Gardiner, Jim Gold, Fin Hope, James Milner, Lucy McLaren, Molly Tolson and Erin Purdon.Gilbert Logan was on fiddle we had, with Jim Gold and Alan Gardiner on keyboard and on drums were Tom Hope, Fin Hope and Charlie Todd.Davie Millar surprised everyone by giving the audience a selection on the moothie and Gus Lowrie added even more variety with some songs.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
