Former Dundee striker Jason Cummings accused an official of stopping his game Down Under for "commercial breaks" as he ranted at the stop-start nature of the A-League.
Numerous VAR checks and several drinks breaks interrupted the clash between his Central Coast Mariners and hosts Melbourne Victory. And with Victory scoring the winner through Nishan Velupillay in the fourth minute of added time it made for an unhappy Cummings.
The former Rangers and Hibs frontman fumed as the breaks were being used for adverts on broadcaster Network Ten. He reckoned the stoppages got out of hand and slammed a particular VAR review that took "10 minutes".Speaking to Network Ten, Cummings said: "It was quite a stale game.
I've never been at a game where it gets stopped that long."Like, genuinely. The VAR takes about 10 minutes to stop with that.
