BBC viewers are up in arms and are reported to be demanding their licence fee back after feeling unsatisfied with the broadcaster's coverage of conspiracy theories surrounding Kate Middleton and Prince William.Earlier this week Simon Jones spoke to BBC Breakfast's Sally Nugent and Ben Thompson about the edited photo the Princess of Wales had posted on Mother's Day, which led to a huge furore over her whereabouts due to her admission she'd tweaked the image.
Kate sent a public apology via her official social media channels with William, confessing she was the one who altered the photo.
But the BBC chat about the controversy led to viewers flocking to X, formerly Twitter, to voice their boredom with the segment and how they'd turned off from the programme, reports the Mirror.
One miffed viewer remarked: "Ridiculous reporting on none stories. It feels like we are being fed this rubbish daily now," while another posted: "I want my licence fee back".Another quip stated: "I flipped a coin, and it came up heads, which was to hit the off button.
