BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Fleur East offers new baby update after giving birth in living room

Fleur East has offered a fresh update on herself and her baby girl after revealing she gave birth on her living room floor. The former Strictly Come Dancing star delighted her fans and followers when she revealed she was pregnant on New Year's Day.

Alongside a stunning photo of herself debuting her baby bump at the time, Fleur, who hosts Strictly spin-off It Takes Two after making it to the final of the BBC One dance contest in 2022, told fans: "2024 is gonna be different…" alongside a baby emoji and a red love heart.

And over the weekend, the singer, presenter and radio host announced that she and her husband Marcel Robin had welcomed their baby girl into the world and shared pictures of the sweet bundle of joy and her name for the first time. The former X Factor star could be seen confidently strutting along with her little girl in a video before the new family of three were seen together for the first time. "Our daughter entered the world via squat position into the arms of my Husband and I on our living room floor!" Fleur continued. "One day I will share my birth story with you (what a RIDE!), but for now, we are resting and doing well. "So thankful to the amazing midwives who were by my side, my birthing partners (my auntie Tina and my Husband @marcel__robin ) and all of our family who have been helping out and showering us with love.
