A number of Strictly Come Dancing's female professionals made sure to jokingly respond to their male colleagues as they made the most of some downtime before their return to the hit dance show.

It's now been a few weeks since the BBC dance contest's professional dancers began work on the upcoming series. Last month, they joined creative director Jason Gilkinson in rehearsals as they started their work on the string of pro numbers that will feature throughout the series and set to be pre-recorded later this month.

But amidst the hard, sweaty work, the group are able to enjoy some fun together. Earlier this week, Aljaz Skorjanec, who has returned to Strictly after a two-year hiatus, took to Instagram to share a photo of himself in a lift with several of his colleagues. Aljaz also teased in the caption of the post: "Bonding sessions." And now, their co-stars have responded with their own version of bonding as the indulged in some self-care.
