Peacock has given a straight-to-series order to The ‘Burbs, a contemporary series adaptation of the 1989 Universal Pictures horror-comedy film of the same name.

Seth MacFarlane (Ted), Erica Huggins and Aimee Carlson executive produce for Fuzzy Door under the company’s UCP overall deal alongside Brian Grazer, Kristen Zolner and Natalie Berkus for Imagine Entertainment, which produced the 1989 movie.
