Banned Premier League footballer Ivan Toney breaks silence in explosive podcast

The Brentford striker was the latest guest for the popular podcast Diary of a CEO hosted by entrepreneur Steven Bartlett. In what was his first interview since his ban in May, Toney opened up about his gambling addiction after being charged for 232 breaches of the FA's betting rules.
Toney was fined £50,000 for the breaches and is currently serving an eight month ban which he is expected to complete in January.
Last year, news broke of an investigation into the England international over allegations of gambling. Soon after, Toney confirmed he was 'assisting the FA' with their investigation, which led to his omission from the England squad set to go to the 2022 World Cup.
