Area of East Kilbride brightened up by several beautiful floral displays

The streets in one area of East Kilbride have been brightened by several beautiful floral displays. The St Leonard’s in Bloom group have been busy teaming up with South Lanarkshire Council’s grounds team to plant new flowers along several parts of the local community.

Avril Anderson, from the group, said: “We started the group back in 2019 with the aim of bringing a bit of colour to the town.“The grounds department cleaned up the flower beds with fresh soil and new plants while Tesco very generously gave us three planters.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
