Appeal after motorcyclist left with serious injuries in Paisley hit and run

MORE NEWS FROM THE PAISLEY DAILY EXPRESS The incident happened around 6am on Friday, July 2 on Greenhill Road near the junction with Drums Road in the town.The incident involved a blue Yamaha YZF motorcycle and a blue Renault Clio car, which failed to stop following the collision.The 61-year-old male motorcyclist was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment to serious injuries.Road policing officers are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash to come forward.Sergeant Jon Mochan, of Police Scotland’s Road Policing Unit, said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and we are working to identify the car involved.“Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
