Don’t expect a remake of The Breakfast Club to ever happen. Ally Sheedy, who played Allison Reynolds, weighed in a potential remake of the 1985 cult classic directed by John Hughes saying that a new version would never work in today’s time. “There’s no way there could be a remake because John Hughes just didn’t want that to happen so there isn’t,” Ally shared with Digital Spy. “It would be a completely different film, there’s no way to remake it today.
