Aldi has put out a "do not eat" alert over an item in its stores, with a police investigation currently in operation. The discount retailer recalled one batch of Village Bakery 8 Tortilla Wraps White owing to fears they may have been tampered with.
The recall triggered by concerns that the product could possibly contain metal was communicated to customers last month. The recall impacts products carrying a best before end date of 29th April, 2024.
Aldi is urging anyone who has purchased the product not to consume it but to return it to the branch from which it was bought for a full refund, the Daily Star reports.
